With a mission to revive the men of the American church, we're committed to fighting back against the "spirit of the age" by creating a culture of physical, mental, and spiritual strength.
We believe that full strength (fullsterkur) is found through the constant, unyielding pursuit of The Creator and self-improvement.
Through community, education, and wilderness retreats, the Fullsterkur Initiative is dedicated to helping men do just that.
Fullsterkur: Icelandic origin. Translates to "Full-Strength"; a designation given to the heaviest stones and the men who earned their place on fishing boats by lifting them.

If you're looking for state-of-the-art treadmills and a spin class, this is probably not for you. However, if you're looking for heavy metal circles to lift up and down and an aggressive, passionate environment... welcome aboard.
(Our facility is not yet open to the public, pending construction.)

We are meant to do life together. Despite being more "connected" than ever, loneliness is at an all-time high. This is leading to an epidemic of depression, fear, anxiety, and suicide.
We are fighting back by building a community dedicated to lifting each other up and providing mutual support and encouragement.
Spiritual Strength
Reliance on God.
Let's face it, life is hard. There is not much we can do about that. What we can do, however, is begin to understand the nature of God and deepen our faith in Him. Within the Fullsterkur Community, we will be unyielding in our pursuit of a more authentic relationship with our creator. We will accomplish this through both education and community.
Ultimate strength is found through reliance on Christ.

We believe that men are built to endure, and that there is something therapeutic in overcoming challenges. Join us as we walk out of society and into the wild, where we will explore what it truly means to become a "Man After God's Own Heart."
